My 19-Day Glasses Nightmare: Avoid This Online Shopping Trap! 😤

My terrible online shopping experience is a cautionary tale, one I desperately hope others can avoid. I ordered glasses on March 30th, needing them urgently after my old pair broke, so I paid extra for express 3-5 day shipping. It’s now Day 19 or whatever, and I still have no glasses! This company is terrible, terrible, terrible. By Day 5, they were still in production; by Day 10, still stuck. I felt compelled to call customer service on Day 11 to at least get a shipping refund, since they clearly weren’t upholding their promise. They refunded the $10 shipping, but the glasses are still 6 days out on delivery. It's infuriating to think someone doesn't give a crap about their customers.

Customer: I ordered glasses on March 30th, paid for express 3-5 day shipping, and it's been almost three weeks. Where are they? CS Rep: I understand your frustration, ma'am. I see your order, and it appears there were some unexpected delays in production. We did process a refund for your express shipping on April 10th. Customer: Yes, I know about the refund, but that doesn't get me my glasses! My old ones are broken. Your website promised 3-5 days, and now you're telling me they're still 6 days out? That’s unacceptable! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the prolonged delay and the inconvenience this has caused. Let me re-check the updated estimated delivery window for you and see if there's anything further we can do to expedite this. Customer: You need to do more than apologize. This whole situation is a joke. Just tell me when they’ll actually arrive.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
