I urgently needed new glasses after my old pair broke, so I ordered on March 30th and paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. But here I am, day 19, and still no glasses! It’s beyond frustrating. Day 5 came, then day 10, and my order was still 'in production.' I felt compelled to call customer service on day 11 to at least get a refund for the express shipping they clearly weren't delivering on, but the whole situation has just been a nightmare. Someone clearly doesn't give a crap about their customers.

Customer: I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I placed it on March 30th, paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses broke. It's now day 19, and I still don't have them! I was already told they're still 6 days out! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/madam. I see here that a $10 shipping refund was processed for you on April 10th. We sincerely apologize for the unexpected production delays. Customer: A $10 refund doesn't help me see right now! I've been without proper glasses for weeks. What exactly is the hold up? Why promise 3-5 days if you can't even get them shipped by day 19? CS Rep: We are experiencing higher than usual volumes and some unexpected technical issues in our lab which have unfortunately affected production times for some orders. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. Customer: So what are you going to do about it? I need my glasses. This is absolutely unacceptable for a company that sells essential medical devices. CS Rep: I completely agree this is not the experience we want for our customers.
