GlassesUSA Ordeal: No Glasses, No Refund, and a Fight for My Money Back! 😡

Please, listen to my terrible online shopping experience, a cautionary tale I hope you'll heed. I'm leaving this review and pushing to speak with customer service because frankly, I'm at my wit's end. My direct experience and conclusion about GlassesUSA is this: "GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. My order number is #1050811183 if an actual person sees this. I used Zinni before and never had this problem, and I will definitely use them again. STAY AWAY from GlassesUSA. Whatever happened to customer service? I WANT MY MONEY BACK! 4/1—still no glasses!! Finally, GlassessUSA has agreed to a refund, but I still have to wait 7-10 business days to receive it. This company is atrocious, and the only reason I am getting my refund is because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, wrote a bad review on Trust Pilot and Google, and filed a complaint with the Vermont Attorney General's office. Keep that in mind when you do not get your order and request a refund. It worked for me with this terrible company! Date of experience: February 24, 2025." This entire ordeal has been incredibly frustrating.

Customer: I need to speak to someone about order #105081183. I placed it on February 24th, never received the glasses, and still haven't gotten my $246 refund. All I get are bot messages saying it's in transit! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. I'm sorry to hear about the delay with your order and refund. I see here that a refund was processed on April 1st. Customer: Processed? I was only told it was agreed to on April 1st, after I had to file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General! And now I'm told I have to wait another 7-10 business days for money you've held onto since February. When will I actually see my money? CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the prolonged process and the inconvenience this has caused. The 7-10 business days is the standard processing time for the bank to post the refund to your account once it's been initiated on our end. I can confirm it was indeed initiated on April 1st. Customer: So, there's nothing you can do to speed this up, or at least explain why it took external complaints just to get this far? This is unacceptable customer service. CS Rep: I completely understand your dissatisfaction with the experience. While I cannot expedite the bank's processing time, I want to assure you the refund is in motion. We are continuously working to improve our customer support and avoid situations like this in the future.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
