I'm here to share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning for others. My 12-year-old struggled to see with the glasses we ordered after using their virtual try-on. It turns out the pupil distance (PD) was incorrect – the website just assumes a value if you don't know to provide it, which means it will be wrong for many buyers. This critical issue, combined with the fact that you can never reach a human at glassesusa for a real phone conversation and email interactions are painfully slow, compelled me to persist and finally get through to customer service.

Customer: I am so frustrated! We ordered glasses for my 12-year-old, and he can't see with them because the pupil distance is wrong. Your site never asked for it, and you just guessed! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you've experienced with your son's glasses and reaching us. Can I get your order number, please? Customer: It's [Order Number]. This is unacceptable. My child needs these glasses, and now we have to go through all this because of an assumed PD. CS Rep: Thank you. I see the details here. We absolutely want to ensure your son has correct vision. We can arrange for new lenses with the accurate PD. You would need to return the current pair, and then we'll process the replacement. Customer: So, he'll be without glasses again while we wait? This whole process is dragging on, and I'm very disappointed.
