GlassesUSA Refund Nightmare: My $246 Battle & a Warning to All! 🚨


Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a stark warning to others. My frustration stems from a situation where:

GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. My order number is #105081183 if an actual person sees this. I used Zinni before and never had this problem, and I will definitely use them again. STAY AWAY from GlassesUSA. Whatever happened to customer service? I WANT MY MONEY BACK! 4/1—still no glasses!! Finally, GlassessUSA has agreed to a refund, but I still have to wait 7-10 business days to receive it. This company is atrocious, and the only reason I am getting my refund is because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, wrote a bad review on Trust Pilot and Google, and filed a complaint with the Vermont Attorney General's office. Keep that in mind when you do not get your order and request a refund. It worked for me with this terrible company! Date of experience: February 24, 2025

Customer: I've been trying to get my refund for order #105081183 for over a month now! Your automated system is useless. Where is my $246? CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the delay and the difficulty you've experienced in getting a clear answer. Let me access your order and see what’s happening with your refund for #105081183. Customer: I'm beyond frustrated. I had to go to the Better Business Bureau just to get you to even acknowledge a refund was due! Now you're telling me another 7-10 business days? This is unacceptable. CS Rep: I completely agree that this situation is unacceptable, and I am truly sorry for the extended wait and the extra steps you had to take. I can confirm the refund was processed on April 1st. While 7-10 business days is our standard timeframe, I will personally escalate this with our finance team to see if there's any way to expedite it for you immediately. Customer: You need to do more than "see if there's a way." I want that money back in my account, not more empty promises. This company has wasted so much of my time and money.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
